Reading some of the stories in this collection multiple times per day. Favorites so far: The Color Kittens, The Three Bears, The Boy and the Tigers, Good Night Little Bear and The Wonderful House. Add the Pokey Puppy, which my son just allowed me to read to him the first time over Christmas to the list of favorites. I think the last two we haven't read are perhaps of no interest to him. I'm going to call this one finished now.

I like The Pokey Little Puppy, I like the end because it says they should never, ever dig a hole, but they keep doing it.

Some stories are better than others, of course. Some stories I remember from my own childhood, some are completely new to me.
Overall it's a nice collection of quick stories to read to children. I liked color kittens best, my daughter liked baby dear.
The last story, a series of little stories about how the turtle got his shell didn't seem to fit at all and was very differently structured from the others

Cooper and I are currently making our way through this collection. We both really like the variety and the stories are very classic. This reminds me of being young!

very nostalgic, there were only one or two stories I didn't really enjoy or that wouldn't work for a storytime crowd.

I really don't like most of the stories in this one. There are a couple good ones, but this is a weak collection.
