The story involves four young people and their cabalistic union. They co-exist, trading stories, adventures, love and work until one day the leader of the group, Israel Lacasa, disappears. Told in retrospect to the author, who later in the book appears as a character, the enigmatic nature of Lacasa is recounted by his friends in order to solve the mystery of his disappearance. Why and where he went remains a mystery that no one in the book can solve, leaving the reader with the task. The result is a complete surprise.

La trama cae en las manidas características del género policial. Lo único que me ha llamado la atención ha sido la forma en la que está narrado, pues de forma fragmentaria tratamos de acceder a la historia de vida y desaparición del protagonista. Otro aspecto que merece la pena mencionar es el juego de autoficción que propone Benjamín Prado, convirtiéndose en narrador tanto en el plano de la ficción como en el de la realidad.
