Fallen Stars, Bitter Waters

Omega #2

by Gilbert Morris, Lynn Morris, Alan Morris

In "The Beginning of Sorrows" we saw the events leading up to the destruction of America. Now in the aftermath, the epic end-times struggle between good and evil continues. Widespread anarchy and chaos threaten Christians as they seek a hiding place for the resistance. The power of prayer is an invisible resistance to Count Tor vonEisenhalt's evil, so now he is more determined than ever to root out and annihilate every Christian on the planet. "Fallen Stars, Bitter Waters" is a rousing novel that will open new ways of thinking abut what the end-times will be like and what they will mean to believers.

Note from Publisher: Due to the overall sales of the first two books in the Omega Trilogy, we regret to report that the third book, Seven Golden Vials, will not be releasing. However, we are happy to announce a new series from Gilbert Morris, debuting in the spring of 2003, tentatively titled "The Creoles." Look for the first book to hit bookshelves early next year.

Overall, I really liked this book. The story is intriguing and moves along at a fast pace. However since this is #2 in a series of 3 and 3 has not and will not be written, I am disappointed to not find out what happens to all of the interesting characters. My only other slight criticism is that this book does have quite a bit of “churchiness” to it. Since I believe that may have been central to the plot in the third book, I can’t criticize it too much. I just really wish that #3 was written to give a conclusion to this interesting story!

Interesting book, but the trilogy isn't finished. The publisher decided that the third book, Seven Golden Vials, wouldn't be released because of the overall sales of the first 2 books. I wish that the authors would find a way to make it available.

Between this & the JAG series that I'm watching, how do you trust anything that politicians are saying?

Book two of a trilogy. It was very disappointing though when the publisher decided NOT to publish the 3rd book of the series, so you are just left hanging.
