Samantha Hunter grew up in the Finger Lakes Region and now resides in Syracuse, NY with her husband. She showed early interest in being a writer when she signed her name as the author of an encyclopedia when she was seven years old. As an adult, she has published over 25 romance and mystery novels with new ones on the horizon.

Sam loves to travel and is always inspired by the places she's been, sharing her experiences with readers through her stories. She is also a serial hobbyist and volunteers for local animal shelters (which means she's always trying to figure out how to take more dogs and/or cats home!).

HRB#229. More of the HotWires series (Flirtation from above). Sarah Jessup is the former hacker turned internet crime fighter. Logan Sullivan is a cop trying to find out what happened to his partner. He's fighting against orders and both are forced to take a vacation. They hook up and find they are on the same side. There they track down the head of an international prostitution and pornography ring. Quite a bit for 249 pages.

Enjoyed the plot--I always like a kick-ass heroine. However, I'm wondering when she got enough training in self-defense to take down the guys she did--from what I read, she only had a short police course and I doubt that would have been enough. Aside from that quibble, this was an enjoyable read as Sarah and Logan go after some real sleazebags.

Intriguing. Full of hot sex and fun storylines. I would recommend this romance because I did not find it predictable at all. Definitely one to make you crawl up the walls.
