Really learned a lot from this book. Very engaging. I appreciated the use of real life examples to illustrate the ideas of the book. The premise - which is that as Christians, we are meant to be Spirit led, is clearly Biblical. And the way they describe how to grow in that kind of partnership with God, is easy to understand. I swear I could feel something shifting in me as I read the book.

I found it took me longer to finish than I expected. That could be partially due to struggling to focus right now. Could also be the Spirit telling me to take time to really let it sink in. I needed this book right now. I've had it for years and I never go to it.

I picked this book up at a conference by PRMI in west Michigan. I was part of the praise team and was not participating in the whole conference officially, but hearing the speakers I felt challenged to lean more about how to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit. The book was a tough read for me - there was so much in each paragraph that I often had to reread them to grasp the content - but I found myself with a growing desire to more deeply “cooperate” with the Holy Spirit. The last chapters were much easier to digest. I look forward to seeing how the leaders from my church will apply what they learned at the conference and through this book.

Great information and some really inspiring sections. For some reason this was a hard book for me to get through—I lost steam somewhere and had to finish by audiobook. But still a worthwhile read.
