A Level 2 Read with Usborne book about a young elephant and her family, with lots of facts about elephants woven into the story.

This is a nice beginner book about elephants for young children. I like that it puts the book into a story format, which is more accessible to some younger readers. The story is very matter of fact and has lots of information about the lives of elephants. It's good for introducing ideas, but not for older children doing a research project.
