Dare to Soar

Rate this book
Dare to Soar is a reminder that every intricate detail of who we are is woven into the purposes and the dreams God has for us. When our lives take a turn for the worse, when opportunities arise that we’re too afraid to take, and even when we want to just plunge forward and figure things out on our own, He is at work in and through us to change our lives and the lives of those we encounter. Paula Dunn’s story is a testament to the purpose-filled plan of God in the lives of those who are willing to believe and follow. Exploring the love of God through His provision in her childhood and chronicling the journey to turn her love of singing into a ministry for His glory, Dare to Soar brings encouragement and practical application to the life of anyone seeking to rise above their greatest obstacles and to live beyond their wildest dreams.

This is more and deeper than a self help type book. Dare to Soar is a reminder that no matter our past, age, how we were raised or our journey there is a reason and a plan for our lives. We are never too dingy, beat down or exhausted to do and be what we are called to be. Even when we don't think we can even stand, God is saying soar.
I especially enjoyed the look into the author's life. It gave her words more meaning to see that she is living proof of what this book says.
Plus, it's an easy read! I plan on going back through and doing the workbook pages.

What a beautiful reminder that we truly can rise above not only our past but also the circumstances around us. I have read many goal making books and this one was right up with the best of them. It was so surprising to me that this was the author's first book. I love that as a child she wanted to be a Christan cheerleader, and here she is not only a singer and minister but cheering on the masses to be the best they can be.
