The author has produced an excellent translation of von Welling's writings. Unfortunately, his writings are not for everyone. The work is permeated with hermetic language/"diplomatic speech"; and Welling was writing for an audience who already well understood the concept of the schamayim or fire-water. So the sense of the text may remain obscure for the more casual reader, and will certainly require at least several readings and meditations before understanding can be reached.
