Shelves: weird-fiction
I got this for "The Black Brat of Dunwich." I always thought "The Dunwich Horror" had a ton of potential for deconstruction and Sargent (any relation to Joe?) did a great job addressing aspects of the original that warranted further thought. Otherwise the rest of the stories are pretty much your standard Cthulhu Mythos fan fiction. Well-written, but nothing really stands out. ...more

Recommends it for: only diehard lovecraft fans
These are some very unique lovecraftian stories, mostly playing fun games with the mythos, rather than trying to copy lovecraft's style. Some are very funny. ...more
