Wenn Emanuel und Bilali morgens aufwachen, ist kein Tisch für sie gedeckt. Die Jungen leben auf der Straße und wenn sie Hunger haben, müssen sie sich etwas suchen. Sonst tun die beiden, was andere Kinder auch tun. Sie spielen in der Sonne und denken sich aus, wie es wird, wenn sie groß sind und Busfahrer oder Präsident.

Jag har tyvärr lite svårt för illustrationerna, som mer liknar utklipp stundtals och de annorlunda proportionerna. Däremot gillar jag själva berättelsen och att lejonet följer med personen hela tiden, inte som hunger men som en symbol som även kan tolkas som styrka.

Nasrin Siege is a German Author, born in Persia (Iran). Her parents immigrated to Germany when Nasrin was nine years old. She studied Psychology in Kiel and worked as a Psychotherapist at a Psychosomatic Clinic in Frankfurt. She first moved to Tanzania in 1983 with her husband and daughter.
