Jade Hill is a stuck up actor who thinks he can say and do anything. However, when he messes with his co-star and long time lover Sandy one too many times Sandy leaves. Enter Derrick Andrews who gets Sandy's vacant spot in Jade's life as both co-star and lover.

Ridiculous story about an actor (Jade) who shits on his boyfriend (Sandy). However, in the end Sandy becomes the lunatic and Jade gets his happily ever after.

I liked it, but I think it could have done with a bit more character development and another few chapters at the end.
The blurb pretty much sums it up although it doesn't give a clue as to the amount of promiscuous behaviour you have to wade through to get to the denouement.

Me encanto leerlo, ame la pareja de Jade y Andrews, ya que a Jade es un actor porno, y a el sienpre le gustaba ser el dominante en la relasion , por eso sus amantes tenian que ser sumisos, pero el dia que Sandy su pareja se fue, y llego Andrews otro dominante, la vida de Jade camvio totalmente y hay tuvo que aprender a sobrellevarlo y con el paso del tiempo se enamoraron y terminaron siendo pareja, pero cuando Sandy regreso y quiso regresar con Jade, este lo rechaso y siguio con Andrews, ame esta historias, fue una de las mejores historias que el leido

What do you get when you put two alpha males together? Fireworks! Jade has been alpha on and off screen for years but his philandering ways cost him his costar. Now he has to work with Derrick, another alpha. Their on screen chemistry astounds everyone, even them. Neither one wants to admit what is really happening. It takes a while to work through the new reality, but maybe these two have found something and someone worth fighting for. A very interesting and hot read.

Jade is a leading man in a new genre of big screen gay movies. Not porn or low budget indie films, but big budget action films. He has worked with his co-star Sandy from the first movie and several films into their partnership they are a hit. The smaller twink is the perfect accent to his bigger alpha persona. Unfortunately not only do they work together, they also play together. Jade doesn’t take their relationship nearly as seriously as Sandy would like. After catching Jade with his pants down with someone other than himself one too many times, Sandy options the health clause in his contract and disappears.

Enter Derrick, the new leading man. The complete opposite to Sandy. Not smaller, not effeminate in any way, and not a pushover. The new combo is explosive even as it unsettles Jade and excites Derrick.

Derrick and Jade must find a way to get along, make the movie and reign in the explosive chemistry between the two before it burns down the set and the walls around Jade’s heart. Well, two out of three isn’t bad. The desire can’t be contained despite meddling extras, returning exes and basic communication problems.

Now all they have to do is figure out who’s on top and isn’t that the most fun to watch?

My first impulse was to write it off as consummate pulp. Enjoy it, sure, but mindless enjoyment.

It's got something, though. Something profound. Something...evocative...?

I know, I was surprised, too. It's weird, but it's actually there. ACTUALLY THERE.

That being said, some of it was rather melodramatic *cough cough*
There were proofreading errors that annoyed me. There's probably more, but I was reading it as a consummate pulp story, so prolly stuff that might have otherwise bothered me didn't bother me.

I guess, I'll give it a slight 3+, but not a full 4, and forego the "consummate-pulp" shelf by way of compromise.

a Light enjoyable read, my only problem is that are MC promiscuity features prominently. He has several partners even after their first time together. We get a HEA that does have monogomy for all those like me that don't like cheating.

I would have liked to know what happened to Derrick, does he continue in the movies with Jade. It's hinted that the fans like them together but nothing is concerned.

You don't like Jade in the beginning, but he grows on you.

hmm what can i say about this book? let see, first of all the cover is champion. yummy.....the guy in the front cover absolutly HOTTIE :p but.....unfortunetly not with the storyline. okey i got some parts funny lines but i didnt feel REAL chemistry betweem two main characters.

Started the book, couldnt hold my attention, i didnt feel any interest in the hero, he treats the man who loved him horribly. I may revisit this book at a later time, but it couldnt capture my intersted in the first 5-6 pages so its a 'no-go' for now...

I like the chemistry between the two main characters. Just wish there had been more, so the reader could find out what happened to them after the movie was finished.
