While I appreciate his genuine scholarship and his balanced perspective on the various potential long term outcomes to the end of cheap oil, I am left a bit shaken by the breadth and depth of the changes he sees coming. It opens a perspective alive with multiple possibilities for the future and has increased my awareness of how much uncertainty the present circumstances hold.
