I bought this book back when I was a newlywed and my husband and I had just moved into our new house. I was immediately taken by the elegance of the style and this book was a great guide to incorporating it into my home decor. The following year, I began taking courses to become an interior designer. Again, this book helped me when I chose to specialize in historical interiors. In addition, it was just a pleasure to read.
