Amedeo Stroti was the founder of Storti Edizioni, an Italian publishing house based in Venice specializing in guidebooks, art history, and cultural guides, particularly focused on Venice, the Veneto region, and archaeological sites.

Amedeo was a Venetian tour guide who met & married Ann Margaret Raymond ( - 7 April 2020) an American from Maine who visited Europe in the late 1950s. Together, they built the respected publishing house.

Definitely doesn't replace having a guide through the city, but it's interesting to see the main sights for trip planning.
