The Shorten Chronicles : Books 1-3

Sophie,her dog and Hugo step into a lift that takes them to another world. In a Manor they are accepted and Freddy falls in love with Sophie. Later Sophie and Hugo go home in the lift but Freddy follows. Sophie really loves Hugo and he does her. Now what will they do about Freddy. Trying to get Freddy home they enter another world. Fights and super powers helps but Sophie gets hurt. Back to the future again trying to save Sophie.

I checked the audiobooks of these out from the Library with no real idea of what they were. And what they were was a treat! To say any more would be to indulge in spoilers, so I'll just leave it at that.

Book 1 was good.
Book 2 started to loose me a bit
Book 3 was awful, bizarre. I tried and tried to finish it but I couldn’t suffer anymore and didn’t finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy. Book 1 was great but books 2-3 were even better and more exciting. I can’t wait for book 4
