Carson Mackenzie enjoys writing romance with a real feel inside the stories. She writes with the belief not every man is a jerk and not every woman needs saving.

Carson lives in the South with her son, a Great Dane and two adopted shelter dogs that keep the household in line. Books have always been a part of her life. There is nothing better to her than curling up and relaxing with a good story and losing herself in someone else’s world for a few hours.

Writing stories and growing as an author with each book is her goal. She wants to reach the level where a reader knows when they see her name on a cover, they can trust in the fact there will be a good story as they flip through the pages.

Carson’s journey into writing has only been for a few years. As she’s finally starting to settle in, she can’t believe she waited so long to start.

I have to say that I am really enjoying Carson Mackenzie's work. She is a new author to me and has a decent number of books in her catalog, thank goodness. Teagan is a strong woman but she isn't childish about it as can happen in more than a few romances. The guys let her stand up for herself and back her up. The development of their relationship with the added dynamic of the guys' family was awesome. I cannot wait to dive into more of her stories. 4.5 stars for Her Way or No Way!

A great first read from this author, with fight scenes as engaging as their steamy scenes together!

I liked that the central character of this book was a woman, Teagan. Everything about the story started with her and ended with her. This was not a damsel in distress. Max and Nico back Teagan up instead of bulldozing over her issues and "fixing" everything for her. They allow her to stand on her own two feet, fight her own fights, be her own woman and love her the way she wants and deserves to be loved. Great story. Great characters. Good writing style. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is personal and not really a full reflection of the story. I am just not a big MMA fan so this central plotline didn't fully work for me.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m sold! This story was great. The banter and chemistry between Nico, Teagan, and Max were off the charts. It didn’t take too long for them to actually begin their relationship and I liked that. It wasn’t dragged on and I was able to root for them and see the relationship develop. Totally loved it!

A fun story. It isn’t a complicated story. Two men meet the woman of their dreams when they enter her family gym to begin training for their MMA career. None of them can fight their attraction for long. Their isn’t a great deal of conflict in the story. A rival gym is trying to pressure Teagan to work for him as well as push her into a relationship. The scene with Milton didn’t really seem to serve any purpose though. The characters are great and their family is awesome.

This book will blow your mind. Teagan is a head strong woman who runs her families Gym for MMA fighters with her dad. She is content with her life until she meets Max and Nico. They are big bad fighters and hot to add. They want her but she is fighting it.
One date and everything falls into place. I love the fact that her Dad has is own side story. Awesome read.

Her Way or No Way contains humor, witty banter and kick but characters. I like that even though this is a MMA centered book, there is just enough details that your eyes are not glazing over due to overwhelming amount of facts/details.

Cute and quick was the first two words of my final note. I don’t read a lot of MMA books and I’m not well versed in it, but enough information was given that I didn’t feel lost at all.

Max and Nico were hilarious together and complemented each other nicely as a pair. I’m not sure how Max survived growing up with his mouth, but he had me laughing. Nico came off as the tamer of the pair and somewhat kept his cousin out of trouble. Max and Nico’s willingness to go at her pace, no matter how hard it was had me smiling, or even laughing at times when they groused at each other about it. I loved that Teagan made them work for it, not instantly agreeing to go out with them.

Teagan was impressive in her own right. Her resolve to make it in a male oriented field was admirable. The fact that she could not only train the men, but also hold her own in the ring, pretty much started my girl crush. The care she had for her Dad cemented it.

Even though there were three of them, things went smoothly relationship wise. Once the relationship started, things kind of fast forwarded which is unfortunate. Some things felt unresolved like Teagan’s worries about how people would think of her being with two men. It was brought up, then there never was a resolution or even a serious conversation about it.

I struggled a bit with the time gaps. The whole Milton incident felt thrown in. I also felt like there wasn’t really closure with Christoph making the ending feel rushed. The rich supporting characters like Teagan’s Dad, and the boy’s family, and just the sweet romance made up for these things.

Must read

Talk about panty melting romance! This is a MFM romance. Nico and Max are cousins, who happen to like sharing. They are also MMA fighters, which is how they meet Teagan. They check out O'Hagan's Gym, run by Teagan and her dad.
I have to say, I was glad there were actual MMA matches and training. This made the story more substantial. Now the chemistry between Nico, Max and Teagan....I loved it. These three were great. The guys really knew how to push her button. But she gave back, she was no slouch. They made me laugh. At times I wanted to kick their buts.
Carson did an amazing job writing this book. Story line was easy to follow, and kept your attention. The characters were fun and lovable. I can't wait to read more by Carson!
