The poems contained in this book are meant to promote love and concern for one another. As gregarious beings, it is necessary for us to interact through poems, music, sports, as well as share knowledge and other social activities.
I never know how to review poetry. Most professional poets go right over my head, and most of the self-published ones are so earnest that I feel bad giving them less than stellar reviews. Mandeep Singh Lotta is somewhere in between. He's been a published poet since the age of 22. Yet, his poetry has a goal: the betterment of humankind. The poems are interesting, but not difficult to read. I thought it was a fine little collection. This book will also satisfy the Watauga County Public Library 2022 Reading Challenge (ending 6/30/2022) category poetry. I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways.
To be honest, I haven’t read any sort of poetry since college (a long time ago), but when I won this collection through a Goodreads Giveaway I was so excited. I really enjoyed each of these works and the themes of love/care for another really shone throughout the collection. Poetry is not always easy to digest but the author was able to say so much with so little words and make a big impact.
A great poetry read! Emotionally charged poems that leave you with a swollen heart. Compassion, love, fear, it's all there! I'm looking forward to reading more by Mandeep Singh Lotta. I won this ebook from Goodreads giveaways
