Ever wonder what's happening in the mind scientifically when advanced Buddhist monks meditate vs. a Catholic priest or beginning meditator? For a fascinating exploration into brainwaves and biofeedback and how to access and train in achieving an awakened mind, read this book. This book is part of a trilogy of sorts, beginning with Anna Wise's teacher, Maxwell Cade and his "Awakened Mind" book written in the late 70s, and ending with Judith Pennington, who studied under Anna Wise, and her "Your Psychic Soul", written in 2012. In my opinion, Pennington's book is better because it's more up-to-date and comprehensive, which is why I've given this one 4 stars. the music is ok but too much in the background. The words are overly enunciated and the manner reminds me of my 4th grade teacher. It is not pleasant but the instructions might work, I don't know.
