This book was the most absurd book I ever read...and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author really brought the characters to life. I found the main character to be charming in the most ridculous manner. An underdog who used his intelligence to get out of the most unexpected situations. I would recommend this book to anyone who roots for the underdog. Add the wit and humor the book has and you have an entertaining read.

I agree, very absurd book. what a very adventurous Tom holden is very smart guy. the theme seems came back from old times, I cant just wrapped my thoughts how fast and absurd evens passing by and it seems like Alexa have multiple personality disorder nearly the end of the story.😆 But anyway I have lots of fun in this book. I recommend it to anyone.

Initially this one felt like a weird read, but by it's end while still unusual will be among the more memorable western reads.

I couldn’t help but finish this book within one sitting. It is very entertaining, comical, and the most unique western story. I loved it and can see this becoming a comfort book of mine!

I found a beautiful ancient copy of this book at a used book store and couldn’t help buying it for its aesthetic, and my curiosity. So glad I caved and got it!
