Melinda Melton Crow has been a First Grade teacher for 15 years, and a Reading Recovery teacher for nine. She enjoys teaching children to read and getting to know each individual student and his/her family. When she’s not teaching or writing, Melinda enjoys traveling, gardening, and nice summer weather. Melinda has two wonderful boys with her husband, John. They also have two dogs, Buddy and Lucky.

Cute, easy-reader book about friendship. It also goes through what each truck does. Fun for reading and learning.

The three trucks, Green Truck, Dump Truck, and Blue Truck, are playing in the snow. The green truck is near the trees, the red truck finds sand, and the third truck is on the snowy road. Suddenly the blue truck is slipping and sliding on the ice! He needs help! How are the other trucks going to help him? Will he be okay? Find out in this fun story.

I was shocked that this book has recieved such a low rating. This book focuses on simple sentences and uses word repletion. It is perfect for begining readers! The publisher has also included reading tips for teachers or parents. All of which I agree with.
