Great tale of acceptance. I love a tale of a heart being claimed from loves lost and found.

Blake is a delicious hero. I keep rereading passages from this book. Leslie and Blake had very supportive friends and family members.

As the age old saying goes do not judge a book by its cover…well it is true. The cover for this book made me pass it at least 10 times on my recommendations list. The cover is so unattractive to me. The actual content of the book was a gem I really like the story. It was kind of predictable but what romance isn’t predictable. All in all I really enjoyed the book.

**SPOILERS** Well, I said I would be done with this by tonight and I wasn't lying. So this was my first read by Stephanie Morris, and the book was just ok. I feel like the content of the story left a lot to be desired, and I was so excited to read this book based solely on the back cover synopsis. I cannot say that I was exactly disappointed, because, of course, as a true die hard romantic the story went about the way I expected. I just wish there was more build up and a more in depth story line ...more

Just the synopsis:

"Stacking his claim" lacked depth, passion, heat, and heart. It reveled everything against that of the title of the book. The main character Leslie was boring and at times premature. In the beginning of the book she's comes upon Blake's house because of the upcoming blizzard. I had to take a pause at this. "Why come home when you're two weeks from giving birth? Isn't that cutting it a bit thin?" But hey it's fiction.

There was no romance just a bunch of filler it took about seventy-percent of the

Leslie is about two weeks from giving birth but decides to drive to her parents a week early due to a blizzard predicted to hit soon, too bad the blizzard was early too. To make matters worse her car breaks down in the middle of the blizzard and her phones dead. Luckily she spots a light and ventures out and lands on Blake's door who kindly lets her stay. Soon though her water breaks and Blake has to help her give birth. Things go good and during the three days Blake and Leslie stay together the ...more

3.00 stars. 'He ain't to old; if she, ain't too shame.' This paper back book was only 127 pages; but, the storyline moved at a snail's pace. The main characters, Blake Eaton and Leslie Thompson must have had a love at first sight experience because in the 3 days they spent stranded in his house, Blake a disabled Army Veteran with the Army Medical Specialist Corp delivered her baby and declared his love for her. Despite his being 18 years her senior, their relationship progressed with little dram ...more

4 stars. Loved, loved this book. It was short but romantic. Blake was my man from the first chapter to end. I do wanted to hurt Leslie for being Dumb; I know she didn't know how to handle Blake's love towards her, but she kept going on and on about the age, Come one. A good book. Kudos to the author.
