The Bible is full of amazing and wonderful stories which can be understood and enjoyed by young children. Usborne Books has taken some of the more popular and instructive stories and put them into a format designed for beginning readers. Charming illustrations, full of historically accurate detail, carry the stories along and give clear clues to the words and their meaning. With the help and encouragement of an adult, new readers will be able to achieve the pleasure and satisfaction of reading a whole book for themselves, while also furthering their moral and spiritual education.

This book was definitely not one that I would use in the classroom, as I intend to work at a public school, and this was very centered around God. I would potentially have this one in a classroom library among other religious books of other cultures, with it for students to explore if they would like but this definitely is not one I would read aloud or do an activity with.
