Most recipes are good but every once in a while I find some pretty significant typos in either the ingredient or the instructions. I love baking, but I hate having to throw away an entire cake because the recipe called for icing sugar but my research after the fact shows this was a mistake in the recipe and everything else online says it should have been granulated sugar. I'd like to have a recipe book where I don't have to question the accuracy of the recipe given I'm far from an expert.
I thought this cookbook was excellent. Every recipe has a picture, which is massively important to me when trying to envision what I am baking. There is also a great variation in the types of baked goods represented in the book. It is very well organized into separate sections for different types of goods: cookies, cakes, etc. I quite enjoy many recipes out of this book as well as the presentation of all the pieces.
