Ah, what a surprising read. Loved it as a young adult. It is an interesting step in a fantasy world, the contrast between the two societies and an outsider finding a place in a strange culture with odd magic. Lovely

One of my favourite children's books ever. It's a wonderful fantasy story with a strong female lead which is always nice when you are a young girl finding your own place in the world.

This book is completely under-rated.

I loved this book when I was young. I loved the idea of it, the romance and yet the toughness of it.
