Glines is maybe not my favorite artist when it comes to illustrating females (that nod would go to either Ramon Rosanas or Jordi Bernet) but he is my favorite artist to illustrate femininity, the purified essence of female beauty. Glines heightens and stretches and deletes and delineates, and his art is a caricature of womankind with all the playfulness and mystery ascendant.
And Glines is a damn fine historian of other artists of his ilk, so I can forgive him his rather small output.
