As long as there’s at least one German Shepherd in a book, I’m giving it five stars.

I loved Sarge the German Shepherd. He worked for some sheriff, maybe in New York. He also has red eyes, but it might just be the light.

German Shepherds are the most common police dogs.

I think that police horses aren’t as common as police dogs. I’ve never even seen one!

This is an informative book for kids about how horses and dogs have been used through history to help solve crimes. Good for research, with nice pictures, a glossary and an index!
