Haley Rhoades’s writing is another bucket-list item coming to fruition, just like meeting Stephen Tyler and skydiving. As she continues to write romance and young adult books, she plans to complete her remaining bucket-list items, including ghost-hunting, storm-chasing, and bungee jumping. She is a Netflix-binging, Converse-wearing, avidly-reading, traveling geek.
A team player, Haley thrived as her spouse’s career moved the family of four eight times to three states. One move occurred eleven days after a C-section. Now with two adult sons, Haley copes with her newly emptied nest by writing and spoiling Nala, her Pomsky. A fly on the wall might laugh as she talks aloud to her fur-baby all day long.
Haley’s under five-foot, fun-size stature houses a full-size attitude. Her uber-competitiveness in all things entertains, frustrates, and challenges family and friends. Not one to shy away from a dare, she faces the consequences of a lost bet no matter the humiliation. Her fierce loyalty extends from family, to friends, to sports teams.
Haley’s guilty pleasures are Lifetime and Hallmark movies. Her other loves include all things peanut butter, Star Wars, mathematics, and travel. Past day jobs vary tremendously from an elementary special-education para-professional, to a YMCA sports director, to a retail store accounting department, and finally a high school mathematics teacher.
Haley resides with her husband and fur-baby in the Des Moines area. This Missouri-born girl enjoys the diversity the Midwest offers.

Ladies of the Links #2 is a second chance, New Adult sports romance story. I haven't read anything by Haley before and was unsure where it was going to go with the golf references, but it did not disappoint.
The story is well written and it's easy to connect with the characters. The group of friends made me laugh with their antics. Just like my group of friends and their carrying on.
It is a crazy, sweet and sexy tale with a little heartbreak and pain, hope and love, fun and laughter.
Christy thought it was love but he left them.
He loved her but he loved NFL more. Now he is back and hoping she will forgive him. But there is one thing he didn’t know.
Ladies of the Links #2 follows friends who make no apologies for the way they live their lives. True friends that have each other’s back when the rumour blog hits the hood.
A great read that will have you engaged from the beginning. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I truly do adore a good sports romance. This was definitely a sweet, semi-spicy, second chance romance with sports attached. Christy and Ryan had fate written all over them, and it was very sweet story.. They were high school sweethearts, but only together a year. When they are reunited again, they have something much bigger and much more unexpected that they share.
Together they tell a story of when your love is meant to be then nothing will prevent it. Ryan is that loyal, handsome, athletic all American boy. Kristy is the beautiful, all about family and friends, devoted hometown girl. It’s a sweet story you won’t put down until the end.

Cute second-chance romance. This book is part of the Ladies of the Links series. However, it can be read as a stand-alone, which is what I did. I love that our main characters meet up again six years later and pick up together with their children as if no time has passed. I will be adding Book 1 to my TBR.

Ladies of the Links #2 is part of the Ladies of the Links Series. It is a Sports Romance story that centers around the characters of Christy and Ryan. Christy’s job as pool manger allows her to spend extra time with her twin girls. As a single mother she loves being able to work while also being able to raise her children in a safe environment. When the club gets a new member by the name of Ryan, Christy’s life suddenly becomes very complicated. There is a chance that Ryan could expose the secret that she has been hiding for years. Especially since Ryan becomes suspicious when he looks at the twin girls who not only bare striking similarities to himself, but each girl bares his namesake. He quickly realizes that this must be more than pure coincidence and suspects that he is the father to the twin girls. This was an interesting storyline and I had to continue reading to see what would happen to Christy and Ryan. I became very invested in their lives, in their backstory, and in their future. I needed answers to all the questions that came to mind. What will become of Christy if her secret is revealed? What will Ryan think of her? Will she ever be able to live down the gossip? Would Christy and Ryan rekindle whatever it was that they once had? I enjoyed how the story flowed almost as though it was written as a diary, and I was getting inside someone’s most personal thoughts and feelings. I highly recommend!

Well I enjoyed this book. And seeing as this is Ladies of the Links 2, this is a series and book 2 in that series. Well I definitely haven't read book 1, yet. Which tells you I’m going too. It also tells you that you don’t need to read book 1 to read this one. I don’t believe I lost anything. This story was complete from beginning to end.
A second chance romance that involves children. I enjoy second chance romances. However when they involve unknown children, they are a hit or miss with me. This one hit though.
Christy and Ryan were high school sweethearts, till she disappeared. Now she’s back with 5 year old twin girls in tow. I understand it’s a story but it’s not always the easiest story to relate sometimes. I do enjoy how the author approached it. Where he had Ryan step up immediately, no push back or anguish. Which was refreshing because most books like this have both. Including a denial period. That didn’t happen here.
It’s all about navigating life when it’s turned upside down. How one adapts to immediate, but welcome change. Which the author portrays rather well, since it kept me turning the page.
I do thoroughly enjoy sports romances which is what drew me to this book to begin with. And I’m glad I jumped at the chance to read it, it was entertaining and worth it!

Ladies of the Links (Ladies of the Links Book 2) by Haley Rhoades

Ladies of the Links is a Second Chance Romance/Sports Romance that once you start reading its hard to put down. This is a new author to and I’m definitely going to go back and read the first book in this series. The attention to detail and fun, relatable and fully developed characters make the story come to life. Ryan and Christy haven’t seen each other in several years and things didn’t end well for him. Christy has been living her best life just as a mom can until she sees him for the first time in five years. There’s definitely chemistry between them. Christy works at the Golf club Ryan is a new member of. These two fall right back like there was no time list between. Can these twohrt their Happy ending? Will Ryan be a good father? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m definitely going to be going back to read the first book in this series. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author.

This is the 2nd book in the Ladies of the Links series. This is the first book I have read in the series and still really enjoyed it, however I will be going back to read the first book as I enjoyed this one. This is a second chance romance that had it all, attraction, chemistry, secrets, heartbreaks and past loves returning. The author does an amazing job with the characters, I loved the relationship between the friends and all the things they get up to. Their group reminded me of me and my friends which really made the characters relatable.
I really felt sorry for Ryan. He was left heartbroken when Christy disappeared from his life.

Fast forward and Christy is doing great. She had a job she loves, 2 beautiful children who she adores and things are going good. When a blast from her past shows up it turns her world upside down. Ryan was the love of her life and she was heartbroken when they parted but now he is back and all those old feelings resurface.
Do the couple stand any chance this time? Or will time and secrets yet to be revealed push them apart yet again?

An entertaining and enjoyable sports romance with plenty of drama and romance set at Tryst Falls. Single Mum of twin girls works as the pool manager, ensuring all the activities are safe and fun for the clubs children during the summer. Christy gets a shock when Ryan Harper joins the club, and she’s forced to come face to face with the man who broke her heart. Ryan can’t believe it when he turns up to his new club and sees Christy, the only women he’s ever loved, and he still feels guilty for leaving her. However, he gets more of a surprise when he meets her twin daughters and sees his own eyes staring back at him! This is a heartwarming second chance romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Both the setting and the characters are brought to life through the descriptive narrative and the storyline flowed well. Christy and Ryan’s chemistry came across in the story and I was hoping they would get their HEA. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Christy and Ryan haven't seen each other (in person) for six years. Sure, she watches him playing football on Sundays on TV. So, when their paths cross at the clubhouse, Ryan is determined to get his second-chance with her. However, she has a couple of secrets that he doesn't know about...and could change his feelings. But there's more to a relationship with a famous football star that Christy needs to navigate...jealous/pushy women, being talked about, and social media. However, with their respective best friends by their sides, these two might be able to get through it.

I enjoyed this story. Ryan and Christy are both lovable characters that you want to root for. His best friend, and brother, Maddux...and her best friend Brooks...are great characters as well that play a big part throughout the story. And, they seem to be making some sparks of their own! Overall, I enjoyed the story. This is the first that I have read in the series, and it was easy to read as a standalone.

This one was enjoyable. I loved reading Christy and Ryan’s story. High school sweethearts that meet up again, who doesn’t love those romance stories. Those characters were just perfect for each other. I loved reading as their relationship developed. The storyline flowed smooth. An entertaining and quick story that I was able to devour in a weekend. A definite must read for second chance romance lovers. This one was enjoyable. I loved reading Christy and Ryan’s story. This was a great second chance romance. After 5 years Christy and Ryan are reunited while he is rubbing elbows with the elite at his new country club. He's recently moved into the community when he spots her behind the bar. He's been doing big things and living his dream of playing in the NFL, but his life is about to change. Christy left after a colossal misunderstanding and never looked back. Now that Ryan is back in her life things are starting to look up. Ryan takes to fatherhood as if he had never been away from them. This was a fun, steamy read that can be read in one sitting. I loved all the characters. I definitely need to go back and read book one to see if I missed anything, but I don't feel as if I did. Either way this author has just gained another fan and I can't wait to read more of her works.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love sports romance tropes the most. This book is from the circle of friends series and let me tell you I’m hooked. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. My favorite is you get to read both of the main characters' points of view. I could not stop reading until the end and I can’t wait to see what she will write next.

Christy loves being a pool manager in her town. She is also a single mother with twin girls. Christy is very busy so she has no time to find the right man. She is told that they have a new member to the club and she is in complete shock when she finds out who it is. Christy is afraid of Ryan Harper because he was the one that broke her heart. She has a huge secret to tell him but will it make them closer or tear them apart even more?

Ladies of the Links (Ladies of the Links Book 2) by Haley Rhoades. This is such a fun, emotional second chance romance. Its the story of Christy and Ryan who were high school sweethearts. Ryan loves Christy but he loves football more and with that choice Christy leaves and doesn't look back. When she does return to town with twin girls in tow she begins working as the Pool manager at the Club in her neighborhood. When Ryan shows up to join she is caught so off guard. Not seeing him for 5 years and living her life as a mom she has been happy and now he shows back up when she is starting to get over him. Seeing him brings all kinds of feelings up. Ryan has always loved Christy and would love nothing more than to get back with her. Will secrets they have kept from each other ruin their chances of getting back together? Read this second chance romance to find out!

This was a great read.....this is Book 2 in this series and this is my first book reading from this author. I will definitely be circling back and adding Book 1 to my TBR and already looking forward to what this author has in store next!

The story gave me all the feels that I love about sports romance....second chances, friendship, banter, secrets and sizzle. I loved the characters in this book and I was definitely rooting for Christy and Ryan.

When Christy is faced with a new member of the club she works as a pool manager..she finds she is faced with none other than Ryan, her high school sweetheart that left her broken a few years ago. Ryan never stopped loving Christy....looking for a second chance to reconnect. Will Christy's secret tear them apart again more than ever?

I definitely would recommend this read and find out!! Great story.

enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed from beginning to end. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author in the future. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease and kept me coming back for more. The author’s use of details made the story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in the story with the characters. I enjoyed watching the chemistry and growth of the characters that made the story easy to read. I highly recommend finding out what happens with this single mother and new club member. What will happen when the past comes crashing into the present. Don’t miss out on this one. A great story.

Ladies of the Links #2
By: Haley Rhodes

This book features a group of friends that are so well written. I picked up this book because it intrigued me but I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it because I don’t know anything about golf. However, now I want to find a golf league that I can join to hopefully find friends such as this group in the story. This book definitely features the trials and tribulations of the ladies. It features a second chance romance, but the truth is the real story is the friends and everything they get into. This is everything that a group of friends should be. I definitely recommend this book and I promise you I will be reading the other books to find out more!

Ladies of the Links #2 is the second instalment in the Ladies of the Links series by Haley Rhoades. This is fun, sexy contemporary romance with a single mother, a blast from the past, a huge secret, drama, angst, humour, banter, friendship, and emotion.
When Ryan joins the club, Christy world is rocked off its axis. Their chemistry is electric. But what happens when her big secret is revealed? Will they get their second chance- or will the past ruin any chance of happiness?
This was quite an entertaining read. I am enjoying meeting the Ladies of the Links and look forward to seeing what they get up to in the next instalment.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Haley Rhoades!

This is a brilliant second chance romance that has so many of the things I like in a book. I was pulled into this story really easily and found I lost the afternoon reading this book. I enjoyed the characters and their development. Their connection was obvious, even after so many years apart. I wanted to see how things would turn out for them and hoped for their happy ending.
I thought the writing style of this book was easy going and a great read. It is the kind of book you can pass an afternoon reading. As the second book in the series, it could easily be read as a standalone, however I know I will be reading them all.

Really sweet story of previous high school sweethearts who were separated six-ish years prior, and run into each other unexpectedly at an event. Having not read anything by Haley Rhoades previously, I kept expecting a dramatic turn of events to occur, someone cheating or throwing a wrench in the couple rekindling their love, and was pleasantly surprised to read just an enjoyable story. The supporting characters (siblings and best friends) are fun and everything you want in a bff, and the touch of "magic", if you will, is done tastefully and adds something special to the story.
Very enjoyable, quick read!

I absolutely adored this story. Christy was such a great character and I loved seeing her growth as a character. She is such a great mom and the twins absolutely cracked me up! They were such adorable characters. Ryan was an amazing lead character and definitely brought the sizzle to the book. I loved all of the supporting characters in the story as well. They created a great group of friends who got along well and supported each other. I have not read the first book in this series, but I will be remedying this immediately and I can’t wait to read book 3! This was a great story full of humor and love.

Ladies of the Links #2 is the second book to this series by Haley Rhoades. While I did not read book 1, it was still easy to dive into this story and enjoy the storyline between Christy and Ryan. It was obvious from the intensity of the beginning that this story would be filled of passion and regret, and it only grew stronger as the story progressed. I absolutely enjoyed it. Christy was a joy for me from the beginning as a favorite character. I loved the writing and absolutely recommend. Perhaps would be even better if reading book 1 first. But either way, definitely worth it! Writing and plot was spot on!!

I love love a flirty novel with a sports theme, so I am thrilled that I chose to read this book before the first one of the series. It read well as a standalone and I loved that the hinge point of this book was revealed right away, you knew the issues as the characters got to know each other and overcome obstacles. It made it less nerve wracking to read and fun to see where everyone ended up. The best part of the book is that it involves a football player and I LOVE FOOTBALL most of all. Not only that, I happen to be a fan of the actual current TE #87 for the KC chiefs so it was easy to imagine him in that role. Fun story, excited for the next!

Ladies of the Links (Ladies of the Links Book 2) by Haley Rhoades is a great romance sport story.

Christy does a terrific job as the pool manager and enjoys spending time with the kids throughout the summer months to make sure that all activities are enjoyable and safe. She enjoys spending more time with her daughters because she is a single mother of twins. She receives the surprise of her life from the club's newest member.

Every page had you hanging on every sentence and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even compelling people. The story really transports you into this world. I couldn’t put the book down.

Ladies of the Links #2: A Small Town, Second Chance, Single Parent, Sports Romance Novel, my second adult-themed read from author Haley Rhoades. Better than thr first book in the series the author does a great job with the football segments and the blendinf familes portions, “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author & in this series with Ladies of the Links #3: Brooks, A Circle of Friends, Sports Romance Novel being the next in the series. This was such a great read and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I haven’t read the first book in the series and I would definitely like to read that one also. I like sports romance reads but never read a golf themed book before and I really was enjoyable. I liked Christy she was a lovely person and Ryan wasn’t quite was I was expecting either! They did seem to have a genuine attraction and chemistry. There were some great characters in the book and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

This was a good 4 star read. I was pulled right in with the author's writing. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I had several LOL moments. We get so much from these two, love, pain, LOL moments and so much more. These two haven’t seen each other in years. When Ryan and Christy see each other again the old spark comes alive. Can they make it work the 2nd time around? Will Ryan be open to being a dad? Overall this was a good read. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. If you're looking for a great 2nd chance romance, 1-click and get started today.

Christy has a huge surprise for Ryan when they first meet again after 6 years apart that will change his life forever but definitely makes life better. For Ryan this is a second chance with the one woman he has always held in his heart and this time around he is not letting her go! This book has characters you will just love and some laugh out loud moments created by side characters that will keep you captivated page after page. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am sure it won't be the last.

I read this as a stand-alone and felt pretty comfortable right away, though this author held my attention from the first page so I’m sure I’ll be going back to the first book now! I enjoyed the small-town feel of this book with the added sports, drama, and steam to make it extra interesting. Though there were a couple of moments the story kind of stalled out for me, I enjoyed it overall and will be continuing the series. I will definitely be on the lookout for this author more in the future. Give it a chance and you’ll fall in love with the characters!

This is book 2 in the Ladies of the Links series however it can be read as a stand-alone. This is a second chance romance between Christy and Ryan. It’s very cute and quick. Christy has struggled for 6 years to be a good mom to her twin girls with the help of her very talented (and psychic bff) before running into Ryan again. They quickly realize the feelings are still there but don’t want to rush into anything since the girls are there to consider. Cute humor, sweet moments and adorable 5 year old twins make this a super adorable read!

Christy has been a single mom for almost 6 years, when her high school sweetheart turned pro NFL star Ryan comes back to her life. Ryan has never been able to forgive himself for hurting her as she's the one who got away. Now he has an instant family, but will it be too much?
A great read that will have you hooked from the beginning.
I received an ARC, and this is my honest review.
