This book is extremely thorough, answering most of the questions sweepstakes newbies have. It also has a place in the more established sweepers' library, primarily because it's inspirational. She includes lots of stories and photos of her own wins, plus stories from other winners... a great reminder that someone out there really *is* winning all these great prizes.
My main complaint is that there's a lot of talk about Law of Attraction, which I'm generally a little skeptical about. Still, I like that she emphasizes it's not just luck that leads to wins... it's patience and consistency.
Though she covers all types of sweepstakes, the book is primarily focused on online sweepstakes. I recommend it for anyone who's new to sweeping, new to *online* sweeping, or trying to persuade someone new to join the hobby.

Naturally I had won a copy of this book through a giveaway. Rather fitting ;)
Anyways this book was very informative and provided a lot of helpful tips for people new to contesting or are seasoned contestors.
I like how it was focused on online contesting, the legalities of contests are broken down into terms that are easier to understand and how to be on the watch for scams. It provided positive reinforcements and shared success stories of people who entered and won amazing prizes. You can't win if you don't enter!
While I don't approve of using certain programs and what not when it comes to entering contests, it was interesting to read how some contestors are able to contest so much (and it's sort of legal, depending on what the rules say for the contest) and what methods may have helped them (like bookmarking and adding notes to help keep track of contests).

I have enjoyed Carolyn's videos and email newsletter with helpful free tips, so I wasn't really sure as an experienced sweeper if I would gain some more information that would help me. I actually did. Some of the links are out of date, and she warns you they might, due to when the book was published. But, you can google search the resources, and it will pull up if it has not expired. Lots and lots of resources. I thought I knew the very best sweeper newsletters, but found a new one today. I like Carolyn's enthusiasm. I was afraid that she was against Christianity, as she speaks time and time again about making your own luck or attracting it. However, she also quoted a Bible verse. People might think Christians can't pray for material goods, but God wants to know the desires of your heart, and often rewards them when you follow Him.

I bought this book from Amazon.I have been entering sweepstakes for many years and just wanted to see if it contained any thing new in the world of sweeping and contest. Most of what I read I already knew there were some things that were outdated or changed since 2008(the copyright date).
Still I'd recommend this book to anyone new to sweepstakes. The Author Carolyn Wilman has a Web address www.contestqueen.com Lots of good information in this book. It has an American edition and also a Canadian version. make sure you order the right one.

I've been contesting for a long time, but I still learned lots of stuff from this book. I finally downloaded RoboForm and now am entering more contests every day and also started using Carolyn's internet contesting system by bookmarking multiple entry contests. I am reading the rules more closely too.
This book will be reissued this fall including new chapters on contesting via social media. A great read if you are interested in the hobby of contesting.

Sweepstakes, prize promotions and their assorted methods of entry, rules, and confusions continue to evolve.
This book was accurate and up-to-date when written, but now some data has expired, and some of the sweepstakes newsletters are out of business.
There are many fun-to-read winner tales to enjoy and day dream about!
It remains a worthwhile intro for beginners and there is still a lot of good suggestions, how-tos, and advice.
