I have a 1924 copy of this funny, detailed collection of similes. The best part is the almost snarky introduction by Frank J. Wilstach, in which he admits to his obsessive compulsive need to collect similes whenever he sees them. The book is beautiful and is a little like reading poetry written on the walls of ancient lavatories.
