Great source of information about my ancestors who settled in the county. Chock full of interesting stories and characters- you do not see someone in a community write about a community with such openness, candor and authority anymore.

I have actually spent a lot of time with this book in various libraries over the years, and finally broke down and bought myself a reprinted copy. The reprint doesn't have the same feel as the originals, but the originals would cost about 30x more.
