Jon was a well-respected fire service leader, not only within Oklahoma City, but throughout the state and the nation. He served the Oklahoma City Fire Department for 26 years, retiring in 1999 at the rank of Assistant Chief. As the department's public information officer, Jon was a tireless proponent of fire safety education. After retiring from the Oklahoma City Fire Department, he continued his dedication to public safety, and at the time of his passing was Executive Director of the Council On Firefighter Training.
Was a Good read for the first few chapters and then the same information is repeated over and over again. Could’ve been written better by a high school AP English student.
