The Great Golden Thing
Bramble Bear has made a discovery -- but of what? He rushes to the wise magician Gimli for advice. But even Gimli doesn't know what to make of Bramble Bear's description -- a great golden thing that seems to fly, yet rests on a leg that's green. Could it be dangerous? The two set out to discover just what the great golden thing can be. Joined by Hopple Hare, the three explorers are quite caught up in the excitement of their quest, but it is Bramble Bear's sensible mate who solves the mystery for them.

This is a sweet tale about discovering new things and not being afraid of the unknown. It's a fun tale, as children are likely to be able to figure out what is puzzling everyone. The illustrations are colorful and expressive and we enjoyed reading this story together.
