This volume marked the end of the very long Nirai Kanai story arc. Even having missed a volume, it was relatively easy to follow.

Quick thoughts: ... and there's the other boot dropping directly into Keita's gut. This was a harsh, intense volume with some important reveals, a lot of action and significant sacrifices. A touch melodramatic in parts, but as it's the big payoff for several long building plot threads it's fine and somewhat expected. All in all a great close to the first major arc of the series. Can't wait to see what the second half brings.
