When I saw the title on the Goodreads giveaway, I was totally intrigued about what this book was about. I had to have it. Now, I'm so glad I picked it up.

This book represents the first "spell book" I've ever purchased. And while I probably won't be rolling out the cauldron to try any of these spells, this sure was a fast and fun a read. The author somehow managed to put humor into "witchcraft" and quite skillfully I might add. From apples to water, she's highlighted ways for women to find love on Halloween. And she taught me my new favorite word "haggishness." If you want to know what that's about, you'll need to read the section on mirrors (doesn't sound like a good combination but it really is).

For someone looking for a cute Halloween read, this book definitely fits the bill.

What an utterly delightful book! This is rather enjoyable. I smiled through the whole thing.

Megan Hansen's illustrations are quite lovely, I must say. She is an amazingly talented artist!

Christy's magickal explanations are easily understood, and would be helpful to the novice.

The spells & rituals are all feasible and possibly easily performed. They are written for heterosexual women. Men & those of the homosexual persuasion can easily modify them for their usage.

Though,I cannot vouch if they actually work. My husband tends to frown on me doing love spells.

Satan Is The New Cupid is a perfect Halloween read. Christy Leigh Stewart brings the reader a magical book Filled with spells, witchcraft, summoning spirits, and how to "catch your man". It is a great "full moon" night read. I highly recommend to anyone with an open mind.

And once again I loved the beautiful cover-art by Megan Hansen. I look forward to more work from these two young ladies.

This is a fun, enlightening read full of interesting history and intriguing ideas for finding your love on Halloween! There is all kinds of information in here and though the author takes a humorous point of view as she guides the reader through all the different spells, superstitions and concepts it's still a very intelligent, reader friendly execution. The separate sections in the book make it organized and user friendly, and would be easy to re-find information in.

I enjoyed this greatly and would recommend it to anyone looking for love, has friends who are, or simply looking for fun, new activities to do on Halloween with a group of friends!

When I first got this book I thought it was going to be a paranormal romantic fiction. As I started reading it, I realized that it was actually a non-fiction 'how-to' book about attracting a loved one via "magickal means".

I enjoyed it just as much. I love those kind of books, too. I loved Christy's sense of humor, which shone through in her writing.

If I wasn't happily married, I would be tempted to experiment with some of her suggestions.

I loved this book. Yes, at 84 pages it is short but that said short can sometimes be better than long when dealing with things in this area.

The title can lead people to maybe expect a short story with some cute little spells inter mingled. However, the author worked to not overwhelm readers that may not have any clue about spells or the workings or magic and that's a good thing. I've read 'basic' or 'simple' books in spells or related topics that lose the reader by page five. This wasn't the case. I followed along easily and while I don't expect readers to go out and actually attempt the spells listed or explained, readers with more than a basic interest could do just that.

I found many of them more like the folk healing or things that my great grandmother would often talk about from when she was a girl and that was refreshing for me.

So if anyone wants a fun, quick read, pick this up and see if you decide to try something on the next Solstice or Halloween night.

This is a very short read. I thought it was going to be a real story with some spells mixed into it. It wasn't.I am not a believer in spells and chants but read the book anyway. Some of the "spells" sounded interesting, some were completely odd, and some were good ideas to fix your problems. My mom is a believer and single so I am going to send her the book. Maybe it will be helpful for her.
