Mariah gives us a unique way of telling a story. It told as memories. The brief present part of the story gives you to closure of so much. But the memories keep you wanting more.
Solid romance by an new-to-me author. I enjoyed the story of JD and Maggie; told in a unique way as flashbacks unfolding during a TV interview. I’ve wanted to try a Stewart book for a while and I’m glad I did.
The storyline was great and I enjoyed it. The only issue I had was with the narrator's voice and how she narrated the story. The overall story kept me interested so that I finished listening to the book.
Wasn't sure if I would like this one. It's all flashback, telling their story but it got to the point that I did not want to put it down and stayed up very late to finish it. The more of Mariah Stewart's books I read the more I like her books. Good reading.
This was a good old fashioned love story J.D. Borders is an unconventional rock star in that he seems very steady and secure in his own life. He meets Maggie the love of his life by accident being a true humanitarian. Their life together is idyllic while some of their friend's lives fall apart. I am sure many famous people would like to have lives like J.D. and Maggie.
