There are a ton of useful tips here. My only beef with the book is the section called "Nursing Etiquette," which focuses on how people may feel uncomfortable around a breastfeeding mother. The tips contained in this section--bring an extra towel to the beach, wear a big T-shirt, etc.--are actually useful, but I think that they would have been better presented as advice on logistics rather than "etiquette." Lansky could have started this section with a statement like, "Obviously the physical and emotional benefits to mother and child greatly outweigh the concerns of strangers you will encounter on your travels, but here are some tips to make nursing easier while you are away from home..."
