About the author

Rebecca Sharp Colmer is a Certified Senior Advisor, author, and independent publisher based in Southeastern Michigan. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she previously worked as a paralegal and later as Vice President and General Manager of an aerodynamics company. Rebecca founded Eklektika Press, where she writes and publishes large-print, easy-to-read books focused on senior issues. Inspired by her father-in-law’s insight that older adults face unique learning challenges, she has dedicated her work to helping seniors and caregivers with accessible, practical resources. In addition to publishing senior guidebooks, she developed a caregiving kit to organize medical and caregiving records, available in both print and online formats. Rebecca has also written several screenplays and ghostwritten numerous books, further showcasing her commitment to communication and support for aging populations.
