“Nelson Mandela” (Graphic Biographies) by Bob Shone, Neil Reed

Very good book for giving an illustrated overview of this man's journey and passion. ***

On February 10 (1985), Mandela spoke through his daughter, Zinzi. It was the first time in over twenty years that Mandela's words has been heard in South Africa. “Your freedom and mine cannot be separated. I will return.” (p37)

On February 10th (1990), Mandela and De Klerk met each other.

Activist = a person who takes part in actions, such as protests, to show support for a particular point of view. (p46)

A short biography of a political leader.

This book was interesting but it lacked depth.
