A useful book in terms of a framework for how to deal with the stress of looking after an unpredictable little person. It is a bit earnest for my taste and in some places a bit unrealistic, in all of the examples the baby seems to calm down as soon as the parent takes a breath - I'm exaggerating a bit (but not much), and this certainly wasn't my experience! I felt better if I made an effort to calm down but my baby continued to scream on oblivious.
