Romance fails us and so do friendships, but the relationship of mother and child remains indelible and indestructible - the strongest bond upon this earth.
I wish I could rate this higher but in reading it I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be for a daughter when the excerpts were more the ruminations of the the parents of daughters. Furthermore, I found some of the the quotes and writings a bit gloomy for my taste. It wasn’t horrible and did have some beautiful illustrations and sentimental, touching writings.
Well, to start the way the quotes were expressed was far away what I expected from this. I never really liked the way of; pregnancy, childbirth and all. But in this one every thing that was dedicated to each of their daughters was something that I'll never feel. It was extraordinary, I never thought that it would make ME feel emotional. It was like I was experiencing childbirth and looking at a newborn baby in my arms. I was smiling like an idiot the whole time. The illustrations were heart touching. Loved the thought of Theodor reik. As well as Sidonie Goudeket's. And a little poem by Sally Emerson. This book made me feel all kinds of things.

El año 2007 mi madre me lo regalo despues de salir de 8vo básico, en ese tiempo lo leí y hoy lo he vuelto a leer y me ha encantado, es hermoso, y un recuerdo que guardaré por siempre.
