This is the absolute best book I’ve read all year. Every Christian should read it. I battled tears the whole way as I read about what our forefathers went through to preserve religious liberty. Incredible. Absolutely incredible!

Engaging and educational historic fiction. Bamford follows an Anabaptist family in the late 1500s in their flight for a safe place to worship and raise a family. Very powerful story that will make you cry and raise your awareness of Baptist history and suffering.
