I now have a much more informed view of the medical profession, and how to advocate for myself in a variety of situations. Great advice on getting second opinions, what questions to ask your doctors, how to select a surgeon, how to deal with insurance companies
Author is an attorney who has handled many cases for patients harmed by the medical profession, whose outcomes would have been different if they had known how to advocate for themselves.
