Leider habe ich offensichtlich zuviel Zeit verstreichen lassen zwischen der Lektüre des Vorgängers und dieses Bands. Da dieser Band praktisch keine eigenständige Plotlinie hat, muss man ihn in Zusammenhang mit dem Vorgänger, idealerweise eigentlich zusammen mit dem ganzen Zyklus, lesen.

Mir gefällt die Story und Artwork um den Gorillakönig sehr, doch ist der gesamte Afrikazyklus weit entfernt von der Qualität und Atmosphäre des ersten Zyklus. Mir kommt alles etwas zusammenhangslos, unmot

Le tome final de l'aventure africaine de Jade et Kim. Dans ce tome, nous apprenons l'union de Jade et du roi Gorille... Union qui va permettre au continent africain de retrouver la paix. De son côté, Kim continue sa recherche de la perle noire tout en étant traquée..

Bon... autant j'ai apprécié de connaitre le destin de Jade, devenue immortelle et enfouie à jamais dans la jungle autant je me suis ennuyée avec Kim...

Dans l'ensemble je suis soulagée que ce cycle africain soit terminé car même le mé

Finisce con questo episodio il ciclo africano delle avventure di Kim Nelson. Piuttosto surreale questa storia al contrario della storia precendente con un certo realismo storico. Piu' fiacca, differente, in realtà solo piuttosto diversa dalla prima parte.

Jean Dufaux is a Belgian comic book writer. Beginning his professional career as a journalist for "Ciné-presse", Dufaux started writing comic books in the 1980s. Perhaps his most well-known, and certainly his most long-running, series is Jessica Blandy.
