It was hilarious, yet a bit educational. I really liked it though.

I really liked how the Magic Pickle defeated the Creature from the Black Legume. This is how he defeated him: he punched him in the back. Then the Creature from the Black Legume split in half. That was an awesome way to defeat him because...just because. I didn't learn anything, actually I did learn something: how to break a legume in half. And that's it. Good bye.

The bad guy is a evil peanut who is tryindg to flood the world with peanut butter and destroy it. Then when the magic pickle finds the peanut he slices him in half with his vinegar and turns him into a candy bar.

This book is so spectacular! It has so much great illustrations that you don't have to visualize it and also, it is so peculiar than other books. That's because it has a magic pickle...

The Magic Pickle books are great books for reluctant readers. They combine regular narrative writing with comic book pages. The stories are ridiculous, but that's what kids love. In this story the Magic Pickle and Jo Jo are fighting the Black Legume. They use peanut butter and jelly to save the day. Definitely ridiculous!

Another silly book featuring the amazing superhero, Magic Pickle. Action takes place in a peanut butter factory and the villian is none other than the Black Legume, who tries to goo the school group into messy statues.

My son said it was good, short, and good if you like action- and he likes action so he gave it 5 stars. Mostly a lot of puns about food, some education and cartoon/comic feel. It was on to me.
