There is a reason great writers are great...they are really good. I am working my way through the Barsetshire Chronicles. And all those who "Read those when I was 20" can just be quiet. Sometimes we appreciate things when we are older. I like Trollope's asides to his reader, as if he were on a stage and then turning to the audience.
