Monster Sleepover!

Rate this book
The little monsters are having a party, but this time it’s not for a birthday—it’s a slumber party! In their own quirky monster style, the friends play Simon Says, read fortunes, sing songs, have snacks, and of course, stay up past their bedtime!

Small children in particular will enjoy laughing along to the all-too-familiar antics of these little monsters. Told in brief text, and panels that highlight the physical humor in each scene, this is the perfect book to share with a young child before his or her first slumber party.

It's fun and games and hilarious hijinks when some adorable monsters get together for a slumber party. This is cute, silly fun - plus - monsters in their PJs!

The Little Monsters have their very first sleepover.

What a strange little book. Fun humor to share with kids before a sleepover, but probably not good in storytime because you really need to be up close to enjoy the pictures and humor. Would also work around Halloween time, but def. not scary.

Not a Halloween book, but definitely fits in with the season. Doris has a sleepover and invites all her monster friends--ghosts, vampires, mummies, aliens and monsters! Things get pretty crazy as they eat snacks, sing songs, play games, and...eventually...sleep.

Well, I suppose this could be a good bedtime book. I really don't like the robot who talks like an idiot: "Robot no get wet," "Robot fall down." I can't stand when parents talk to their kids this way, so why would I like it in a book meant for kids?

My kids (aged 6 and 7) absolutely loved this book. To the point that there were tears when we had to return it to the library!

Such a funny little story, even I found myself laughing at some the illustrations and dialogue.

Well worth a read with the kids!

Nice book with alot of humor. Good for preschoolers and older. The book is longer with humor the older kids would understand.

Cute story and layout. Scenes are framed out like a comic book, which dad especially appreciates.
