I love traveling and was in South Africa recently myself. Although not on same places, it was interesting to read about traveling 150 years ago.. maybe otherwise the rating would be lower. Holub was still your and not experienced, some chapters are repetitive, i also am no fan of hunting and find the book quiet racist (judging from modern point of view.. i mean that i see hunting silly now, when a rich man pays a huge sums of money is flown with an helicopter, everything really safe... back than hunting was a need and people didn’t have some enormous advantage over the nature, so it was ok..).. i am thinking whether i would ever have guts to actually set off for such a travel...
