Human Geography gets general readers to think geographically across scale and across a wide range of geographical phenomena and global issues. All concepts and themes are touched on with the historical background one would expect, but also with current examples to make the reading more relevant. The content is written in such a way that it is approachable and appealing. It includes all of the important themes in a succinct and engaging narrative style that can easily be understood. From the Field boxes and opening vignettes help anyone who has not personally traveled much of the world. General readers will also find the latest data as they build their understanding of important concepts.
Made me cry multiple times would not read again :(
My oh my..we meet again. Where I have gained an outstanding FOUR on the Ap Human Geo test. However you didn’t not help me study ONCE for that test! No no no! That all went to Mr Sinn and ap flashcards and my basic knowledge. There goes you actually deserve the one star rating I have left for you…haha…checkmate. Old friend. I hope whoever gets you next puts you to better use. Maybe you could be a cushion for some short man to sit on so he’s a bit taller. Goodbye. Old friend.
This book is just plain bad. There are no tables, no graphic organizer, no concept art, no nothing; just lines and lines of plain text going off-topic a lot and explaining examples that have nothing to do with the concept. It does have a few extremely low quality images that cover the entire page unnecessarily. Also, the chapters are all jumbled up compared to CollegeBoard's guidelines and we had to go back and forth during the school year.
