I must first come clean and admit that I am a huge fan of the SciFi genre when it comes to storytelling. Reading the result of an author's wild imagination has always intrigued me. However, I've encountered too many people who immediately write-off a work of fiction as something they wouldn't be interested in b/c it isn't real. Having read the description of this book I felt a little confused when I first started reading. This is not a book about the supernatural per say. While I enjoyed the supernatural elements of Lyft, the real joy of the story was the subterfuge of the terrorist plot! Once I got over my expectance of more magic, and less modern history, I found myself laughing out loud at the antics! It took me a bit to get into the storyline, but overall it was very well written! I'm reading this book on the reccomendation of a friend who knows my reading preferences. I must say that this was a delightful surprise. I'm not the adventurous type when it comes to new authors, but I truly like this author, Jeffrey Wood.

This book (apparently part of a series) is well written. I really enjoy the subtle, and not so subtle, comic undertone to the whole book so far. The main characters are interesting and Lyft has a personality that makes him feel more real. There is a fair bit
