From the Biblical Ten Commandments to the latest Stargate and Mummy films, the world of Ancient Egypt continues to mystify, enthrall, and fire the imagination. These original new stories cross the shifting sands of time to dig up the truth about Moses' visions, the magic of mummification, and the power of animal-gods that still prowl the desert of our dreams.

Like all anthologies, it had some good stories and some not so great ones in it. There were only a handful of the thirteen that I would call good, and just two or three of those that I felt were excellent. But those few stories made the whole book worthwhile, overall. It was, if nothing else, a nice little diversion of a novel.

I highly recommend this collection of historical fantasy short stories. The tales just got better and better and were very well written. Completely entertaining!!
